Buying your first home is a big decision and can be a daunting and confusing process. This is completely understandable and it will probably be the biggest financial step you will ever make. We will carefully guide you through the process step by step, whether that be in the initial stages of dealing with land agents and making an offer to purchase; or assisting you once an agreement is signed. We also understand that as a first home buyer it will be important to you to keep your costs to a minimum. It is for that reason that we offer all our first home buyers a special, discounted package:
- Standard First Home Purchase (including a Bank mortgage):
$1,200.00 all inclusive
- Standard First Home Purchase (including a Bank mortgage plus KiwiSaver &/or Home Start Applications):
$1,400.00 all inclusive
These prices are all inclusive so there are no hidden costs. The prices include our legal fee and GST; office disbursements such as photocopying, facsimile charges, forms and postage; fees paid to third parties on your behalf (for example, there are fees payable to Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) for registration of land title documents, mortgage registration, search fees and so forth). We are also happy to accept payment from you over time if paying us in one lump sum is going to be difficult. If this is the case please discuss with us a payment scheme by way of regular instalments at an amount manageable by you.
You will also be aware that we offer all our client’s a free Will service and we would recommend you take up the opportunity to make or update your Will at this time.
Disclaimer: If for some reason however your matter is particularly complicated or you require other services such as a Relationship Property or Property Sharing Agreement, there may be some additional cost which we will discuss with you.
